Let's meet in ...

A series of events on the territory, from the north to the south of the peninsula, to stimulate citizenship to participate in the Conference on the Future of Europe.

This is the aim of "Incontriamoci a..." (Let's meet in…), a project promoted by the Department for European Policies which will be held in ten Italian cities from December 2021 to spring 2022.

Each appointment will be an opportunity to analyse in depth one or more topics among the nine proposed in the multilingual digital platform of the Conference on the Future of Europe, taking into account the specificities and requests of the territory.

Each event encompasses a meeting-debate open to citizens and students with representatives of institutions, local authorities, universities, and civil society. This is followed by a workshop with students that ends with the presentation of a paper that will be published on our website and uploaded on the Conference web platform.

Let's meet in Padua

On Thursday 7 April 2022 the ninth appointment of the cycle of meetings dedicated to the Conference on the Future of Europe will take place at the Aula Magna of the University of Padua.

Let's meet in Florence

On Monday 21 March 2022, the eighth appointment of the cycle of meetings dedicated to the Conference on the Future of Europe will take place at Palazzo Buontalenti. The themes of migration and asylum will be at the centre of the event.

Let's meet in Catania

On Friday 18 March 2022, the Aula Magna Santo Mazzarino of the University of Catania will host the seventh appointment of the cycle of meetings dedicated to the Conference on the Future of Europe.

Let's meet in Pavia

On Friday 14 March 2022, the Aula Magna of the University of Pavia will host the sixth appointment of the cycle of meetings dedicated to the Conference on the Future of Europe.

Let's meet in Teramo

"Incontriamoci a Teramo" (Let’s meet in Teramo) will take place on Friday 4 March 2022, being the fifth appointment of a cycle of meetings that is crossing the peninsula from North to South to stimulate citizens to participate in the Conference on the Future of Europe. Hosted in the Aula Magna of the University of Teramo, the initiative will end with a debate with students in order to collect ideas and proposals for tomorrow’s Europe.

Let's meet in Lecce

On Tuesday 15 February 2022 "Incontriamoci a Lecce" (Let's meet in Lecce) will take place. It is the fourth appointment of a cycle of meetings crossing the peninsula from North to South to stimulate the citizens to participate in the Conference on the Future of Europe in relation to the specificities and requests of the territory involved. The social and economic topics of the Conference will be at the centre of the debate and the afternoon workshop.

Let's meet in Bologna

On Friday 28 January 2022, the Department for European Policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers promotes "Incontriamoci a Bologna" ("Let's meet in Bologna").

Let’s meet in Milan

On Thursday 20 January 2022 the Department for European Policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the University of Milan are organising, in collaboration with the European Parliament and the European Commission, the event "Incontriamoci a Milano" (Let’s meet in Milan).

Let’s meet in Venice

On Thursday 2 December at the University Ca' Foscari Venezia Palazzo Ca' Dolfin – Aula Magna "Silvio Trentin" the event "Let's meet in Venice to talk about the future of Europe" will take place. It is the first of a series of meetings (“Incontriamoci a…”) that will cross the peninsula from North to South to stimulate citizens to participate in the Conference on the Future of Europe in relation to the specificities and requests of the territory. In Venice, the issues addressed are 'The European Union in the World' and 'Climate Change and the Environment'.
