The Spokesperson for European Citizenship is one of the school-based initiatives promoted by the Department for European Policies. Each year, the Department publishes the list of Spokespersons for the just-ended school year, i.e. the teachers who were most active on the Europa=Noi digital platform.

The award was introduced to reward the commitment and enthusiasm of the several teachers who bring Europe into their classrooms by using the tools of the Europa=Noi Platform and thereby promoting students' knowledge of European history, values, institutions and programmes, with special attention to the rights and duties associated with citizenship and the Treaties.
