Main Tasks
- coordinating the Italian reply to formal investigation on possible unlawful aid when several administrations are involved;
- ensuring participation in European and Italian coordination and consultation fora;
- providing support and advice to central administrations;
- monitoring and coordinating pending cases of State Aid recovery and handling relations with the EU Commission;
- contributing to quarterly reports on pending investigation and recovery procedures;
- in collaboration with Unit 2, organising regular meetings with the European Commission and national administrations of both general issues and specific cases.
