“Convergences” – Public Communication Magazine

The network of communication directors of EU Member States, EU candidate countries and European institutions presents “Convergences”, a specialised magazine now in its new-cycle 17th issue, following an experimental pioneering phase started in the early 1990s.

 

The current online edition was launched at the beginning of January 2013, with the aim of maintaining a four-monthly frequency to enable for exchange of information on the main trends in the field of public communication. The topics covered in the magazine fully reflect the two components of the Club of Venice's agenda: communication on governmental activities, and communication on Europe.

This publication is intended to enhance interaction between insiders by analysing in depth the topics developed by the Club of Venice to inform on the outcomes of meetings but above all by anticipating new priority issues that will fuel debate in the short and medium term. With "Convergences", the Club of Venice wishes to open up to the general public, create an open and transparent ground for discussion with citizens, and nurture dialogue on communication that respects political, social and cultural priorities.
