'Europa = Noi' are turns 10 years old.

The project, designed and promoted by the Department of EU Policies for Italian schools started in the 2009-2010 school year with the first multimedia tools in the form of CD-ROMs. Ten years later, 'Europa = Noi' has developed and widened its educational offer. It now includes an online platform, interactive educational materials, contests, forums and many other initiatives that involve more than 11 thousand teachers and tens of thousands students from all Italian primary and secondary schools.

A lot of new tools, but the project's objective remains the same: carrying the EU into classrooms through multimedia educationals  on the  European history, values, institutions and programmes, as well as  citizens' rights and duties. All this, with the aim of raising awareness of the past, strengthenning the sense of belonging to the Union and consolidating the attachment to the values of European citizenship.

At the start of school year 2019-2020, 'Europa = Noi' introduces new important tools.

• 'Treaties', the e-book that makes you learn more about the most important agreements on which the European Union is founded and discover the sources of the EU legal system;
• 'Debate', a handbook dedicated to teachers' refresher training on  European citizenship issues , aimed at updating their skills in  stimulating students' critical and narrative capacities  on civic education in its European dimension;
• 'Quiz trivia', the 2020 edition of the online tournament will open next January 2020. An introductory practical session is already active on the digital platform.

The partnership between 'Europa = Noi' and 'A scuola di OpenCoesione' continues this year . It allows schools enrolled in the Department for Cohesion Policies' project to also participate in the 'Trivia Quiz' online tournament.
