With the first meeting of the Executive Committee, work on the Conference on the Future of Europe officially began. The Executive Committee, composed of representatives of the three institutions, on an equal footing, will oversee the work, the process and the organisation of the Conference.

During the meeting, the Executive Committee agreed upon a number of essential points to start the work. The first steps were taken to ensure that citizens can soon start contributing to the Conference, in particular through a multilingual digital platform.
