On Saturday 30 April 2022 the event “The future is yours – Let's meet in Apulia to talk about the future of Europe” will take place in Ruvo di Puglia (BA).
The initiative is promoted by the Department for European Policies in collaboration with the Representation in Italy of the European Commission and the European Parliament Office in Italy, to stimulate citizens and young people to participate in the Conference on the Future of Europe.
The event is organised by Giovani delle ACLI, in collaboration with Europe Direct Puglie and Consorzio Punto Europa.
The programme includes a session of institutional greetings opening at 9.30 a.m. with:
- Pasquale Roberto Chieco, Mayor of Ruvo di Puglia
- Filippo Lucci, President of Consorzio Punto Europa.
The institutional greetings will be followed by a session introducing the Conference on the Future of Europe with:
- Diana Agosti, Head of the Department for European Policies, Presidency of the Council of Ministers
- Carlo Corazza, Director of the European Parliament Office in Italy (video contribution).
Afterwards, a session of debate and collection of ideas and proposals for the future of Europe will be moderated and coordinated by Simone Romagnoli, National Coordinator of Giovani delle ACLI.
